The Automotive Technology course provides students with skills to develop a thorough understanding of the design, construction, and operation of automotive systems. During their two-year involvement with this program, students are taught how to troubleshoot, service, and repair modern automobiles. Using the most up-to-date technology available, these students are prepared to face the challenges of today’s automotive industry needs. National affiliations with the Ford Skills Competition, AYES, and ongoing placement opportunities with local dealerships provide practical skill development. Preparation of students for employment and post-secondary education are major goals.
