Congratulations to Alex Grover and Noah Ufkin on winning the Ford AAA regional competition this weekend in New Hampshire. In the competition students had to put their automotive skills to the test by fixing mechanical problems on their assigned Ford cars, Alex and Noah fixed their car in just under an hour. They will represent Maine next month in the national finals at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. ... |

Portland Museum of Art is currently exhibiting student artwork from around Maine and one of our own has made it in! Amelia Walz from the commerical arts program is now having her artwork featured the whole month of March! Stop in to the museum and check it out! The Fashion Marketing Program here at PATHS has recently attended the DECA state conference on March 7th and 8th at the Double Tree Hotel in South Portland. DECA is an association of marketing students whose mission is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitably, and management. Our Recreational/Marine Repair program sent three teams of students to the Maine Marine Troubleshooting Contest this weekend at the Portland at the Maine Boatbuilders Show in Portland. Our students came in 1st, 3rd, and 4th! 1st Place Team: Billy McIntyre & Serena Cobleigh, both of Windham 3rd Place Team: Jack Leeman of Gorham (partner was from Rockland) 4th Place Team: Camden Hopkins of Scarborough & Reed Wilson of Windham Congratulations all on your great accomplishments!

Carpentry Student Wins First Place in State Wrestling Championship |

Congratulations to Kidayer Al-Jubyly, a PATHS carpentry student from Portland who won first place in the state wrestling championship! It is the first time in 9 years that a PHS student has taken a first place in this sport at the states. |

Vanessa Graviss, former student of Chef Armstrong's, recently won first place in a bake competition. Her cake was made with all edible gum paste peonies and we're sure it tasted delicious. She now attends the Lincoln Culinary Institute in Connecticut. |
